ECLIPSE ESPAÑA · 2026
Method, sources and limits
Every published figure must lead back to its source. These are the layers we keep separate.
Astronomy · IGN
Contact times, maximum, magnitude, Sun altitude and azimuth come from Spain’s National Geographic Institute official municipality table. Times are stored in UTC and displayed in CEST.
Official source ↗Weather · AEMET
We use AEMET’s official hourly forecast when it covers the time of maximum eclipse. It is fetched server-side, cached temporarily, and shown with its issue and fetch times. We never use simulated data.
Official source ↗Safety · NASA
The rules shown on every city page summarize NASA’s current official guidance. We do not certify brands or issue automatic instructions to remove filters.
Official source ↗Broadcast · ESA
We only link to ESA’s official stream and event page. We do not embed, download or rebroadcast the video.
Official source ↗What we do not calculate
We do not analyse terrain, buildings, trees, access, traffic or real conditions at a site. We also do not offer a success score or rank a best viewing place.
